Currently serving as the Director of Information Security & Governance at AssetMark, Inc., Dale Drushella leads enterprise-wide security initiatives and governance strategies. In this role, he drives the development and approval of security policies, standards, and architecture for emerging technologies and systems. He manages a diverse team of analysts and engineers and oversees a 24×7 Security Operations Center (SOC) to ensure continuous threat monitoring and incident response. Under his leadership, the organization has successfully navigated numerous internal and independent audits, and executed complex, large-scale security projects aligned with business objectives.
Prior to AssetMark, Dale Drushella was the Information Security Manager at Urjanet, Inc., where he built and operationalized a robust information security program based on the NIST Cybersecurity Framework. He played a pivotal role in ensuring regulatory compliance with evolving privacy laws, including GDPR and CCPA. Dale Drushella also led risk assessments, monitored security events, developed incident response protocols, and oversaw vendor risk management. His hands-on approach to drafting policies and selecting security solutions contributed to a more secure and compliant environment.
Dale Drushella’s foundational expertise was further solidified during his tenure as Senior Manager – Information Systems Assurance at BDO USA LLP, where he led a wide range of IT audit, SOC reporting, and advisory engagements. He assessed risk, evaluated system controls, and provided critical recommendations for improvement to clients across sectors. In addition to client work, he also trained junior staff, reviewed audit deliverables, and contributed to national training initiatives, earning a reputation as both a technical expert and mentor.
Earlier in his career, Dale Drushella worked as a Data Analyst at TRX, Inc., where he was responsible for analyzing client data, developing SQL Server stored procedures, and collaborating with development teams to address data issues and improve reporting accuracy.
Dale holds the Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) credential from ISACA and the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) designation from (ISC)², reflecting his deep expertise in both technical and governance aspects of cybersecurity. Academically, he earned an M.S. in Information Systems Audit and Control from Georgia State University and a B.S. in Accounting from Florida State University, providing a rare and valuable blend of technical, financial, and audit acumen.
